Nutritional therapy begins with a consultation with Laura de la Harpe, a qualified nutritional therapist. The meeting involves discussion about your current lifestyle, eating habits and health problems. Laura then recommends changes to diet, additions or supplements, and any changes to lifestyle.
Prior to the first meeting, you will be asked to complete and return a questionnaire about your health, symptoms, lifestyle and eating habits.
The first consultation will last approximately one hour. At the end of the first consultation you will take away with you a personalised plan covering your diet and lifestyle. This will address your health priorities and will be realistic and achievable for you. You will be given a written report with practical advice on what to do at home. Nutritional supplements or allergy testing may also be recommended depending on your situation.
You may be advised to return for a follow up session 4 weeks after the initial consultation to monitor your progress and to adapt the plan as needed.
